The location was acceptable. I could walk to nearby attractions, I suppose.

I was disappointed with the room service. My order took over an hour to arrive, and the food was cold, really cold. I expected more from a hotel of this supposed caliber.

Fantastic Stay at Historic Hotel

amazing service great location

I enjoyed the service and the location. The hotel was close to many key areas. The access to the straits club provided breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés. The customer service from the straits club staff was amazing.

Upon arrival, there was NO one to greet me at the door! I had to manage my baggage up the stairs. Getting help with this would have been a plus.

The location was very convenient for getting around. It was close to many attractions. The room had a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. I liked the selection of pastries and fresh fruit.

The room was smaller than I expected. There was a lack of natural light. The gym was also somewhat limited. It only had a few pieces of equipment, and one treadmill was out of service. I also noticed that the soundproofing was not ideal. I could hear noise from the hallway at times.

Historic Charm and Wonderful Location!!!

spacious room easy walk friendly team

The room was spacious, very clean, and had an amazing view. I really appreciated the easy walk to both Marina Bay Sands and China Town. It was quite convenient. The service in the Blue Straits room stood out to me because the team was both friendly and accommodating. The food was AMAZING!!!

The air conditioning unit was quite noisy. This made it hard to sleep because of the constant sound. I hope they can fix the noisy air conditioning .

A Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

great location excellent food comfortable beds lukewarm water poor shower door bathroom mess

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, conveniently situated near many amenities. I was kinda surprised by the excellent food at the restaurant. It had a diverse range of cultural cuisines. The rooms were well kept and had comfortable beds.

The room I was in wasn't great. The shower water was not hot. The water came through the shower door onto the main bathroom floor creating a mess. I generally expected a lot more for the price I paid.
